Gordon represents a variety of clients in a wide range of bankruptcy matters in federal court. He has managed complex consumer and business Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including the analysis of clients’ present and future financial affairs and the evaluation of their bankruptcy options and consequences. He has successfully negotiated, resolved, and defended motions and objections from the United States Trustee, Bankruptcy Trustees, the Internal Revenue Service, and unsecured and secured creditors.

Additionally, Gordon advises clients in proficiently resolving financial disputes with creditors, debt collectors, and attorneys. He has significant experience in negotiation and arrangement of debt settlements and repayment plans, as well as contesting debts under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and resolving mortgage accounting discrepancies under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.
